Windows

  1. From your computer's desktop, right-click on the My Computer icon.
  2. Select Properties.
  3. Select the General tab.
  4. The Computer category notes your RAM.
Mac OS X
  1. Click the Apple icon in the top left corner.
  2. Click About this Mac.
  3. The amount of Memory is displayed (for example, "160 MB").
